Etienne initially studied graphic design and typography. In 2010, when the digital revolution was in full swing, he began to work as a photographer and made his first videos. He met several directors of photography whom he considers to be his mentors; Etienne became adept at lighting and shot composition. Since 2015, as director of photography, he has worked on a range of projects encompassing brand content, fiction, adverts and documentaries. In 2018, he completed training in screenwriting and film direction for a more versatile set of skills. Either as director or director of photography, he has worked with small and mobile film crews for major fashion and luxury brands.

Influenced and inspired by his work on fiction films, in particular by their narrative and visual style, Etienne has closely collaborated with Vogue, and with Groups LVMH and L’Oréal to create brand content that will shape the future.
